Spamhaus CBL is reborn… now interplanetary!

Introduction
With ongoing discussion around a potential sixth Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for outer space allocation, as outlined in IETF's IP Address Space for Outer Space - it has become increasingly clear that governance of interplanetary IP allocations is no longer purely hypothetical.
Recent incidents involving interference with critical satellite infrastructure further highlight that space-based threats are no longer theoretical.
For this reason, we’re reviving and expanding a project that has contributed greatly in securing the Internet for decades: the CBL.
Introducing the Cosmic Blocklist (CBL)
From today, the CBL now extends beyond Earth, allowing the listing of IP addresses across multiple planetary networks in the solar system, by appending the planet name to each address, thereby taking into account the inevitable existence of multiple internets in the near future!
You can look up the status of an IP on another planet via:
<reverse-IP>.<PLANET>.cbl.spamhaus.org.
Try it with your favorite planet!
And, please remember to whitelist the Orbital Anvil Launcher to avoid service disruption.
Although, before you do....HAPPY APRIL FOOLS 😜!
Did you uncover all the hidden planets and solve the riddle? CLUE: Remember that DNSBLs provide A records as the main answer, and TXT are just there for (the lulz) support!
While the Cosmic Blocklist isn’t quite ready for production (yet), the underlying themes aren’t fiction. Conversations around interplanetary networking, satellite resilience, and governance are real and evolving faster than many might expect.
There may not be a Cosmic Blocklist just yet… but perhaps sooner than we think!
